Dr. Alison Wu is a general dentist committed to providing comprehensive dental care with an interest in digital and implant dentistry. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, where she was deeply involved in dental technology and professionalism as a selected member of the Digital Dentistry Committee, a board member of the Student Professionalism and Ethics Association in Dentistry (SPEA), and the Webmaster for her class. As a resident in the General Practice Residency program at Northwell Health, Dr. Wu provided comprehensive care to medically compromised patients both in and out of a hospital setting at North Shore University Hospital and Long Island Jewish Medical Center. Dr. Wu was selected to pursue additional training in the Implant Dentistry and Advanced Prosthodontics Fellowship program at Northwell Health and served as Chief Resident. In her free time, Dr. Wu enjoys attending concerts, spending time with her friends and family, and finding any moment to tap dance. She is a former nationally ranked table tennis player and enjoys keeping up with Boston sports teams.
Dr. Tener Huang is a board certified pediatric dentist. Having received her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from NYU, Dr. Tener went on to study at the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine where she was the first graduate of a dual degree program, receiving both a Doctorate in Dental Surgery as well as a Masters of Public Health through the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health. She went on to complete a pediatric dental residency at the Rutgers University of Medicine and Dentistry, where she served as chief resident and also received an additional Masters in Oral Biology. Throughout her career, Dr. Tener has remained committed to the advancement of pediatric care in her community and abroad. She has participated in dental missions in Cambodia and the Dominican Republic, treating underserved children. Beyond her clinical practice, Dr. Tener has served as faculty at Columbia University teaching first year dental students, conducting community outreach, and continuing dental public health research.A native of New York and New Jersey, Dr. Tener currently lives in Westchester. She enjoys her time with friends, family and her Havanese puppy. Her greatest passion second only to dentistry is traveling, having been to over 40 countries and counting.
Dr. George Lee is an established family dentist that aims to bring the latest advancements to his patients. He received his degree in Doctor of Dental Surgery from the Columbia University School of Dental & Oral Surgery. His further training includes a Fellowship in Dental Implantology from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, residency at Hackensack University Medical Center, and dental implant training from Brookdale University Hospital, an affiliate of New York University. Prior to Columbia, Dr. Lee earned his degree in Chemical Engineering from Lehigh University. Dr. Lee was the recipient of multiple honors including Phi Beta Kappa and Tau Beta Pi. He is currently an active member of American International Congress of Oral Implantologists, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, American Dental Association, New York State Dental Society, and New York County Dental Association, American Academy of General Dentistry. During his time away from the office, Dr. Lee is on multiple town boards and enjoys coaching youth sports and spending time with his wife and two boys. He play tennis and golf regularly.
Dr. Kristen Ho graduated from University at Buffalo School of Medicine with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.). She furthered her training with one year of post graduate residency in General Practice which was completed at Flushing Hospital Medical Center. She has training in all aspects of dental care from restorative prosthetics, oral surgery to endodontics. Throughout her dental career, Dr. Kristen has completed mission trips and volunteer work to provide free dental care for underserved communities in Senegal, Haiti, and Dominican Republic. She currently resides in Queens, New York City and is excited to provide dental care for areas near which she grew up in. During her free time she loves to travel with her husband and read books at cafes.
Dr. Winston George is general dentist committed to providing comprehensive care to all his patients using the latest advances in dentistry. A Raleigh, NC native, he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The University of North Carolina School of Dentistry. During his time at the UNC School of Dentistry, he was an officer for the Student Health Action Coalition (SHAC) where he helped organize clinics to provided dental care to underserved members of the local community. He was also an officer in Delta Sigma Delta, a nationally recognized dental fraternity promoting dental scholars and charity. At the end of his third year, Dr. George was awarded the Hinman Dental Society Scholarship for outstanding academic achievement and leadership in dentistry. Following dental school, Dr. George pursued a General Practice Residency at New York Presbyterian – Columbia University Medical Center in New York City. During his residency, he focused on providing care to medically and dentally complex patients both in and outside the hospital setting. He also received extensive training in oral surgery, implants, oral pathology, as well as dental and facial trauma. His residency program also trained him with skills in cosmetic whitening, veneers, Invisalign and Botox injection.
Dr. Ye Jee Shim is a general dentist committed to providing quality dentistry and contemporary care. She is recognized for her thorough, compassionate and individualized care of her patients of all ages. Her goal is to encourage and guide patients on their journey to healthy smiles and lifestyles. Dr. Shim received her undergraduate degree from New York University in Biology and Chemistry. She continued her education at New York University College of Dentistry where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery. Upon graduation, she went on to complete her General Practice Residency at Woodhull Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY where she received advanced training in all aspects of dentistry including oral and periodontal surgery, endodontics and prosthodontics. Dr. Shim participates regularly in continuing education courses to expand her knowledge and maintain progressive skills in general dentistry. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, baking, hiking and photography.
